Breakfast Ideas With Rawa Sooji
Rava Kichidi
Take a Pressure Cooker
Add 6 cups of Water
Add 1 cup of Coarse Sooji
Add 1 cup of Soaked Moong Dal
Cook it for just 1 whistle
Add Salt to taste
Take a pan
Add 1 tb spn Ghee
Add ½ tsp Cumin seeds
Add 1 tsp Pepper corns
Add 2 tb spn Cashew nuts
Add 1 tsp chopped Ginger
Add 1 tsp chopped Chillies
Add 1 tb spn Green Peas
Add 2 tb spn grated Carrot
Add this & mix it well
Arm Pressed Dumplings
Take a pan
Add 1 tb spn Oil
Add ½ tsp Mustard seeds
Add ½ tsp Cumin seeds
Add ½ tsp Red chilli flakes
Add ½ tsp Urad dal
Add a pinch of Hing
Add 2 chopped Green Chillies
Add 1 sprig chopped Curry Leaves
Add 1 chopped Onion
Add ½ cup SoakedChana Dal
Add Salt to taste
Add 1 cup Sooji/Rava
Cook it closed
Apply ghee to hands & make Dumplings
Rava Wada/Sooji Wada
Take a mixing bowl
Add 1 Cup of Rawa
Add ½ tsp of Cumin seeds
Add crushed Pepper
Add Curry Leaves
Add chopped Green Chillies
Add a pinch of Hing
Add chopped Coriander leaves
Add ¾ cup of Curd
Add Water
Add a pinch of Baking Soda
Mix it well
Rest it for 15 minutes
Make wada’s & fry them in hot oil
Rava Uttapam/ Adaai
Add 1 cup sooji
Add ½ rice flour
Add 1 tsp maida
Add a pinch of Baking soda
Add finely chopped Beans
Add finely chopped Corn
Add finely chopped Coconut
Add finely Tomatoes
Add Grated Carrot
Add finely chopped Onion
Add chopped Coriander leaves
Add ½ tspCrushed Pepper
Add Cumin seeds
Add 500 ml ButterMilk
Rest it for 15 minutes
Take a Non-Stick pan
Make Uttapam like & add some oil
Serve hot
