1 cup lukewarm milk (fresh or evap) [240 ml]
2 tbsp sugar [25 grams] (for yeast proofing)
2 tsp yeast (7 grams)
1 large egg
1/4 cup sugar [50 grams]
2 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour [320 grams]
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter or margarine [45 grams]

70 grams butter / margarine
1/3 cup sugar [70 grams]

*extra egg (for egg wash) optional
